Liz had a long career teaching music in secondary schools which included being a principal teacher. In 2003 she embarked on a second career. In addition to playing for the Studio on Thursdays, she has accompanied the Modem Ballet course at RSAMD and Scottish Ballet’s Associates. She is in demand to play for RAD and ISTD exams. |
Razvan Luculescu |
Razvan graduated with a Bachelors degree from the Orchestral Conducting Department at the National University of Music Bucharest and participated in a Conducting Master Class in Vienna in 2009, where he had the chance to conduct Sinfonia Baden. Razvan also studied Jazz under Richard Michael at the University of St Andrews and has recently graduated from the Berklee (Boston US) Online Professional Composing and Orchestrating for Film and TV Course.
As a conductor, Razvan has approached both operatic and symphonic repertoire, having collaborations in Romania with National Operetta Theatre, Oleg Danovski National Opera Theatre, Pitesti Philharmonic, Oltenia Philharmonic or Campina Philharmonic Society. Razvan also conducted UCD Symphony Orchestra Dublin, Glasgow Sinfonia, Glasgow Chamber Orchestra and Bathgate Concert Orchestra. In 2010 Razvan moved to Scotland and currently he works as Musical Director of Falkirk Festival Chorus and Russkaya Cappella Choir, Organist and Choir Director at Broomhill Hyndland Parish Church and is the Musical Director and founder of Clyde Opera Group. Razvan is also appointed as pianist for the Glasgow Ballet Studio and accompanist for East Renfrewshire School Choirs and Strathaven Choral Society. |
David Farrell |

Judith Keaney |
Judith was born in Glasgow and studied at the RSAMD, graduating with BA Hons, MMus Perf in Piano Accomp. She is in demand as an accompanist and chamber musician and performs regularly as Principal Keyboard with RSNO, BBC SSO, and Red Note contemporary music ensemble. Judith also accompanies at Glasgow Music Festival and has a busy teaching practice. She is on the instrumental staff at The Glasgow Academy where she teaches 5 days a week. |
Andrew Edmond |
Andrew has been playing the piano since the age of 7, and has a DipABRSM and LTCL diploma in piano performance. He has been accompanying classes at the Studio since 1996. He also teaches piano privately, and plays regularly for weddings and restaurants across Scotland. Sara Almohalla |
After graduating in Classical Piano from the Liceu Conservatoire of Barcelona in 2013, Sara joined the ‘Improvisation as a pedagogical system’ postgraduate course and trained at Laboratorio Experimental Theatre School, to continue her research in the fields of music and movement.
Sara has worked for several years as a pianist-actor as part of Laboratorio Teatro Company and Moveo Company performing at the Avignon Festival among others. As a composer she has created the original score for the play “Viaje al planeta de todo es possible” for Índigo Teatro Company, which was premiered in October 2021 and won the award ‘Best children’s play’ at Ateneo Málaga. Sara moved to Glasgow and studied the Piano for Dance Masters at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2020. She is currently working as a freelancer ballet pianist at The Dance School of Scotland, Scottish Ballet Associates and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has also played classes and rehearsals at the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Scottish Ballet. |
